Delete your account

You can delete your FlixBoom account and everything tied to it at any time. Deletion is permanent.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open FlixBoom and sign in.
2. Tap Account at the top of Browse.
3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your profile, watch history, notification settings and, for creators, everything you uploaded are removed within minutes. Backups age out within 30 days.

By email

If you can't open the app, email dev@flixboom.app from the address you signed up with, subject "Delete my FlixBoom account". We delete the account within 7 days and confirm by reply.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first, otherwise the store keeps charging you. Store purchase records stay with Apple or Google under their policies.

What is kept

Nothing that identifies you. Aggregate statistics such as total view counts remain, and records we must keep for tax and store-compliance purposes are retained without your personal details.
